The MVDO Youth League

Thanks to the Molnar tournament and South 94 Bistro, the youth league received a substantial donation and was able to buy our own standards. We are looking for another venue to use for league to get out of a smoking environment. Please email Karen Dupske at kkdupske@gmail.com if you have suggestions for a non-smoking venue. We can be flexible on the day of the week for league if we find an appropriate venue.

ATTENTION: Due to the Holiday season and the Missouri State Dart Championships there will be no youth league for Dec. 25, Jan. 1 or Jan. 8. We hope all the youth players and their families have a wonderful holiday season.

General Information

  • The MVDO Youth league meets every Saturday at Hotshots-Manchester at 11:00 AM
  • The league is open to all players under the age of 21 regardless of skill level
  • The league focuses on dart skills, dart strategies and general sportsmanship
  • Each week is approximately 2 and a half hours long - 15 minute warm-up, 1 hour of skill building drills, 1 hour of matches and 15 minutes of questions and answers on various topics
  • Membership is $50 a year (Oct.- Sept.) and will be pro-rated when you join - all members receive a league polo shirt and will participate in an end of year banquet and will receive trophies
  • Parents are expected to participate actively in the league in terms of scorekeeping, supervising and fund-raising
  • Players can participate for up to 3 weeks at a drop-in rate of $2 a week before they must become a member for $50
  • Another goal of the league is to send kids to Youth tournaments both locally and nationally including the ADO Youth Nationals in August - this of course will depend on the advancement of the skill level of the kids and the fund raising abilities of the parents and league coordinators
