Section 5 - Doubles League Rules

Rule 5.a

All four of the team's players, regular or substitute, may compete on any given night of play.

Rule 5.b

Any competing team in the Mixed Doubles League must have at least one male and one female member and they must be equally paired in all legs. Two team members of the same sex cannot play in the same game segment of a match.

Rule 5.c

Special Mixed Doubles singles matches rule - one round is Team #1 male vs. Team #2 male and Team #1 female vs. Team #2 female and one round is Team #1 male vs. Team #2 female and Team #1 female vs. Team #2 male. Can be played either round first.

Rule 5.d

Doubles format- singles matches rule - no two players can play against each other twice in the same match in singles. If a player plays against another in the first set of singles, those players must play against different players in the second set of singles if they play again. Reminder - the visiting team lists thier players first, so in the second set of singles it is the home team captain's responsibility to match up the players in the second set of singles so no two players from the first set play each other again.
